How unique is Hardware ID?

We hear a similar declarations from StrongBit ("a couple of days", "coming soon", etc.) within 6 months... And, where is a new release?

They are waiting till my license expires and I have to subscribe to another year of ’service’ . So at least you’ll have to wait another few weeks... BTW. I purchased a license in May last year, because they said a Vista-compatible was being released soon - still waiting. I also don’t know why they don’t release a RC 1.03 to fix the multi-threads-problem.

I think, a problem is serious... Just look at the forum threads. StrongBit does not comment any thing within 2 months. We do not know even whether a project is alive, or it’s dead...

Dear Strongbit,
Please fix the activation limit issue I am having with execryptor. Currently, I cannot activate execryptor
due to myself being over the activation limit, (which was bound to happen after using the product for so long with many reinstalls of windows).

Sincerely,

James Simpson

Hello,

Please, don`t worry! StrongBit is alive:) We are just in new upgrade development delayed because of instability of Vista. That`s why some answers are retarded. However we`re working at StrongBit project futher development.

Best regards,
StrongBit Team

It seems you only answer questions on the public forum, while you ignore the questions of your paying customers. You promised a Vista stable version more than one year ago and said it would be released ’soon’. It’s still not here and you ignore all questions on the subject.

How it’s possible to create stable product for Vista (1 year ago is: May 2006), when Vista itself was officially released at the end of January 2007?

EC 2.4 RC1 looks like a stable version under Vista. A problem is StrongBit does not improve (update) EC so long. Some features have been cracked in 2006 yet. For example - function that verifies a serial number. For me, a new crack (loader) appears each time on the warez sites within 48..72 hours after a new version of my product (protected by EC 2.4 RC1) issues. StrongBit promised to fix this problem 6 months ago... No comments.

alexander > it is possible to have a stable product of Execryptor being released before Vista comes out. Strongbit demonstrated that firstly by issuing this update before Vista commercially came out. Secondly it is possible to do so by following the Betas of Vista (Beta 2 and RC1, RC2), which mimicked fairly closely the RTM of Vista, as Microsoft had promised, which would have allowed Strongbit to be working on the update and having it more than ready for primetime by the final release date.
